This sketch originally was a 0.7mm Pilot pen drawing on paper, but I made errors in the contour, so I scanned it and redrew it on Xara. I'm quite happy with the result.

Initially this sitting woman is a beautiful
statue in my study. It is hewn in rough curves, the lady who sold it to me
explaining that the resin she molded it from takes very fast, so the work
has to be hasty, a little bit like using watercolors in painting. The result
is oddly carnal, very sensual, a full-blown female figure with ample breasts
and backside. I drew it with Xara but tried to do it fast, in keeping with the original. I redesigned the head, foot and hand. The angle was interesting as well, eliminating one arm and one breast without looking too strange. |

Also from a professional photo magazine pix. That was my beginning with Xara. Crude, too, and there's something vulgar in the girl's face. I'd like to work on that again some day.
